Application of One-station Low Dose Imaging of 128-Slice Spiral CT in Chest Pain Triad |

Abstract Objective: To explore the clinical value of 128 slice spiral CT low dose imaging in patients with chest pain. Methods: The clinical and imaging data of 93 patients with acute chest pain admitted in our hospital from June 2014 to December 2016 received 128 slice spiral CT with one station imaging examined were analyzed. According to body mass index (BMI) of different tube voltage, all the patients were divided into group A and B, group A, BMI < 24kg/m2 (49 cases), 100kV tube voltage, using prospective ECG gated scan; group B, BMI = 24kg/m2 (44 cases), 120kV tube voltage, using retrospective ECG gated scanning. The effective radiation dose and image quality of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The two groups obtained satisfactory images, and there was no significant difference in image quality between group A and group B (P > 0.05). The average effective dose of group A was significantly different from that of group B (P < 0.05). Conclusion: For patients with acute chest pain, heart rate in the state is relatively stable, using prospective ECG gating technology and the combination of low tube voltage scanning, image quality can meet the requirement of diagnosis, and significantly reduce the radiation dose, is worthy of promotion.
