Clinical Observation of Ginseng Oral Ulcer Qinji Decoction in the Treatment of Radiotherapy

Abstract  Objective: To study the efficacy of Chinese medicine treatment of oral ulcer patients gargle after radiotherapy. Methods:96 patients with head and neck radiotherapy were randomly divided into control group, Chinese medicine group and compound group. The three groups in the first week after radiotherapy, the control group application of Kangfuxin Liquid oral gargle, traditional Chinese medicine group were treated with Salvia Decoction gargle, compound group were treated with Salvia decoction combined with Kangfuxin liquid. Results: After 6 weeks, the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine group and compound group was better than that of control group (p<0.05). Conclusion:Salvia Decoction gargle can make oral ulcer and xerostomia significantly decreasing, and increase patient comfort and assist the completion of radiotherapy
