Abstract Objective: To analyze the treatment results through the combination of Chinese and Western medicine treatment of diabetic retinopathy. Methods: Patients who had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes were divided into 20 patients with diabetic retinopathy at the background I, II and III, and 0.3 g of calcium benzenesulfonate was given orally three times. At the same time, Chinese medicine was given before and after treatment. The number of retinal hemorrhage and OCT were examined by fundus photography. The results were analyzed statistically. Results: After three months of treatment, diabetic retinopathy background I, II, III patients have varying degrees of improvement, bleeding and bleeding spots, microvascular tumor significantly reduced the number of background III macular retinal thickness has been reduced, Statistical analysis results are meaningful. Conclusion: Dihydroxybenzenesulfonate combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy at the background.
