Abstract Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of citalopram and olanzapine in the treatment of depression and its effects on cognitive function.Methods: Select 100 patients with depression from February 2017 to June 2018 in our hospital.Patients were randomly divided into two groups, the patients in the study group were treated with citalopram combined with olanzapine and thepatients in the control group was treated with only citalopram. The clinical efficacy and cognitive function of the two groups were compared after theropy.Results: The clinical efficacy of the study group was better than that of the control group (P< 0.05). The sleeping quality of the patients in the study group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). The cognitive function of the group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05).There was noh no statistic difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with depression, the effect of citalopram combined with olanzapine is ideal, which should be further popularized in clinic.
