| Effect of Wenjing Huoxue Decoction on Hemorheology and Pain Index in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the effects of Wenjing Huoxuefang fumigation on hemorheology and pain index in patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods: 96 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to February 2018 were enrolled. The patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table, 48 cases each. The control group was treated with traction and massage. The observation group was combined with Wenjing Huoxue Fumigation on the basis of this, and the blood rheology, waist activity index, activities of daily living and pain index were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS score, gait score, straight leg elevation test score, sensory disorder score, dyskinesia score, and daily activities were observed. The scores were significantly improved compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The VAS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The gait score, the straight leg elevation test score, the sensory disorder score, the dyskinesia score, and the daily activity impact score were significantly higher. The control group (P<0.05); the lumbar activity index and activities of daily living were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the whole blood high-viscosity, Erythrocyte aggregation index, whole blood low-cut viscosity, erythrocyte rigidity index, plasma viscosity were significantly improved compared with before treatment, and the indicators of hemorheology in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Wenjing Huoxuefang fumigation treatment can effectively improve the blood rheology of patients with lumbar disc herniation, improve the clinical symptoms and pain of patients, and the effect is good, it is recommended.
