Abstract Objective: To study the influence of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery on trauma and ovarian function in patients with benign ovarian tumors. Methods: From October 2010 to October 2016, 78 cases with benign ovarian tumors in our hospital were numbered according to the order of treatment, and they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group by the random number table method, 39 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery, while the control group was treated with open surgery. The levels of perioperative related indicators and changes of ovarian function indexes [estradiol (E2), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH)] were compared between the two groups. Results: The intraoperative blood loss and time of postoperative exhaust recovery of the observation group were significantly less and shorter than those in the control group, and the postoperative analgesia rate was significantly lower than that in the control group (23.08% vs 82.05%) (P < 0.05). There were no significant changes in the levels of E2, FSH and LH in the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). Conclusion: Laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery will cause small trauma in the treatment of patients with ovarian teratoma. The effect on ovarian function is relatively small, and it can better protect the immune function in patients. It is worthy of clinical application. October
