Abstract:Objective: To analyze the effect of massage on the clinical curative effect and growth and development of anorexia based on the theory of meridian and acupoint, and to accumulate evidence-based experience for the quality care of this kind of group. Methods: From April 2016 to March 2017, 53 cases of anorexia admitted in our hospital were treated as the control group, and the chiropractic therapy was given. From April 2017 to March 2018, 56 cases of anorexia in our hospital were treated as the study group, and the "transport hub" massage was carried out on the basis of the control group intervention program. The scores of TCM syndrome, clinical efficacy and growth and development indexes of the two groups before and after intervention were compared. Results: The TCM syndrome score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the clinical curative effect of the children was higher than that of the control group. The indexes of body mass, height, head circumference and chest circumference in the dry prognosis were higher than those of the control group. Conclusion: Massage based on meridian and acupoint theory can improve the clinical efficacy and promote the growth and development of children with anorexia.
