Abstract:Objective: To study mechanism and expression significance of calcium binding protein S100A12 in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). methods: 58 patients with CHF who received treatment in hospital from October 2015 to July 2016 were selected as the study subjects, chose another same period of physical examination in the hospital without the occurrence of heart failure of volunteers as a control group (50 cases), compared the two groups of clinical detection indicators, patients with different cardiac function in patients with S100A12 levels and echocardiographic indicators, analysis of the correlation between S100A12 level and cardiac function classification and clinical indicators. Results: The levels of white blood cell count, red blood cell count, Hs-CRP, HR, LVEDD, LVESD and LVMI in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). With the increase of the degree of patients with heart failure, the LVEDD, LVESD, LVMI and S100A12 levels were significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). According to the Spearman method, the correlation of S100A12, LVESD, LVEDD, LVMI, HR, Hs-CRP, white blood cell count and red blood cell count were positively correlated. Conclusion: Patients with CHF of S100A12 expression and cardiac function and inflammatory markers is very closely linked to clinical as the monitoring index, thus better adjuvant therapy.
