Abstract:Objective: To analyze the association between placental growth factor level and fetal heart rate monitoring and fetal intrauterine growth restriction in pregnant women with preeclampsia. Methods: A total of 131 pregnant women with preeclampsia diagnosed in the hospital were selected from June 2020 to June 2023 as the research subjects. According to whether they were complicated with fetal intrauterine growth restriction, they were divided into preeclampsia without fetal growth restriction group (n=70) and preeclampsia with fetal growth restriction group (n=61). All study subjects were tested for placental growth factor level, and fetal heart rate monitoring was performed at more than 28 weeks of gestation. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the evaluated value of the placental growth factor on fetal intrauterine growth restriction in pregnant women with preeclampsia. Results: The level of placental growth factor in preeclampsia with fetal growth restriction group was lower than that in preeclampsia without fetal growth restriction group (P<0.05). The abnormal rate of fetal heart rate monitoring was higher in preeclampsia with fetal growth restriction group than that in preeclampsia without fetal growth restriction group (P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC), sensitivity, and specificity of placental growth factor in evaluating fetal intrauterine growth restriction in pregnant women with preeclampsia were 0.797, 91.80%, and 57.14%.Conclusion: The level of placental growth factor is closely related to fetal heart rate monitoring and fetal intrauterine growth restriction in pregnant women with preeclampsia. Placental growth factor detection and fetal heart rate monitoring can provide a reference for the evaluation of fetal intrauterine growth restriction in pregnant women with preeclampsia.
