Abstract:Objective: To observe the efficacy of biological technique of channels and collaterals and traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) for soothing the liver, promoting blood circulation, eliminating swelling and removing stasis in treating liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation type mammary gland hyperplasia and explore a treatment for the disease. Methods: All cases were collected from outpatient department of breast diseases in Yulin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2016 to October 2016. A total of 120 patients with liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation type mammary gland hyperplasia were enrolled in the study and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the order of treatment, 60 cases in each group. Age, gender and duration of disease were compared between the two groups. The treatment group were treated with TCM screened by biological resonance technique and the control group were treated with the traditional Chinese medicine oral Rukuaixiao Granules. Both groups were treated for 1 month. Results: The total effective rate of treatment was higher in treatment group than the control group (85.00% vs 66.67%). Conclusion: TCM screened by biological technique of channels and collaterals are effective in the treatment of liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation type mammary gland hyperplasia, without side effects, which is worthy of further study.
