Abstract:Objective: To investigate the changes of subcellular structure and expression profile of distal tissue in colorectal cancer liver metastasis. Methods: The structural changes of human liver were observed by electron microscope,and confirmed in a colorectal cancer liver metastasis mice model.Transcriptome profiling was used to explore the differential expressed genes in distal tissues in the mice model. Results: The subcellular structure of liver cells in distant tissue in both human and mouse liver metastases were obviously different from that of healthy liver cells.Transcriptome analysis showed that differentiated genes in distal tissues were enriched to pathways related to tumor. Conclusion: The morphological structure and gene expression of distal tissues were also affected by the liver metastasis.
