Nucleus Zizhu Capsule Combined with Ceftriaxone Sodium in the Treatment of Pregnancy Urinary Tract Infection and Its Influence on Vaginal Microecology and Pregnancy Outcome

Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of Nucleus Zizhu Capsule combined with ceftriaxone sodium in the treatment of pregnancy urinary tract infection and its influence on vaginal microecology and pregnancy outcome. Methods: A total of 84 pregnant urinary tract infection patients admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the simple randomization, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ceftriaxone sodium, and the observation group was treated with Nudehua Zizhu Capsules combined with ceftriaxone sodium. The curative effect, symptom scores, levels of inflammatory factors [procalcitonin (PCT), C-reactive protein (CRP), heme oxidase 1 (HO-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6)], vaginal micro-ecological conditions [density of flora, diversity of flora, pH value], pregnancy outcome before and after treatment, incidence of adverse reactions were compared. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, symptom score, serum PCT, CRP, HO-1, and IL-6 levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the density, diversity and pH value of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Nucleus Zizhu Capsules combined with ceftriaxone sodium has a significant effect on the treatment of pregnancy urinary tract infections.It can effectively promote the improvement of symptoms and vaginal microecology, reduce body inflammation, and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes while ensuring safety.
