Abstract:Objective: To analyze the relationship between gestational diabetes mellitus and neonatal brain injury by meta analysis. Methods: The databases included CNKI, CBM, Wanfang, VIP, Cochrane Library, PubMed, web of science, EMBASE and other manual searches. The content is about the effect of gestational diabetes mellitus on neonatal brain injury. The date of literature search is March 12, 2021. The fixed (random) effect model was used to merge the results of the studies reported in the literature, and the odds ratio (or) and the corresponding 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated. The causes of heterogeneity and analyze potential publication bias were explored. Results: A total of 421 articles were searched, and 13 articles were finally included in this analysis (2077 children), including 881 cases in the experimental group and 1196 cases in the control group. The included literatures are all case-control studies, and the NOS scale score results show that they are all high-quality literature. The Meta analysis showed heterogeneity across all studies (I2= 73%>50%,P<0.0001). The random effects model showed that the OR of influence of gestational diabetes mellitus on neonatal brain injury with an OR of 21.91(95%CI:8.98-53.50). The Begg test and Egger's test showed that there was no publication bias in the included literature (P>0.05) .Conclusion: Gestational diabetes mellitus increases the risk of brain ingury in newborns.
