Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of alteplase on serum oxidative stress, vascular endothelial function and brain nerve function in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). Methods: Between September 2018 and September 2020,160 patients with ACI were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups. The control group (n=80) underwent conventional treatment with aspirin and clopidogrel, while the observation group (n=80) underwent alteplase on the basis of the treatment for the control group. The 2 groups were compared with respect to treatment effects, serum oxidative stress, vascular endothelial function and cerebral nerve function indexes as well as adverse reactions. Results: The total response rate in the observation group was 95.00%,higher than 83.75% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and endothelin (ET-1) and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) were reduced, while the levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and mRS scores were increased in the two groups (P<0.05). In addition, the difference values of MDA,ET-1,SOD and VEGF levels,NIHSS and mRS scores before and after treatment were greater in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups (8.75% vs 6.25%) (P>0.05). Conclusion: In sum, alteplase can reduce oxidative stress and vascular endothelial damage, and improve cerebral nerve function in patients with ACI.
