Study on the Excellent and Good Rate of Treatment and Complications of the Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Internal Fixation (MIPPO) Combined with Locking Compression Plate (LCP) in the Treatment of Distal Tibial Fractures

Abstract:Objective: To analyze the excellent treatment rate and complications of MIPPO (Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Internal Fixation) + LCP (Locked Compression Plate) for treatment of distal tibial fractures.Method: 72 patients with distal tibial fractures in our hospital from February 2018 to February 2020 were selected and divided into two groups by double-blind random sampling method (36 cases in each group).The control group was treated with ORIF (open reduction and internal fixation),and the experimental group was treated with MIPPO + LCP.The operation index,excellent and good rate of ankle joint function,incidence of complications and SF-36 score were compared between the two groups.Results: The incision length,operation time,hospitalization time,and fracture healing time of the experimental group were significantly shorter than that of the control group.The intraoperative bleeding volume of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the excellent rate of ankle joint function was significantly higher in the experimental group (94.44%) than in the control group (63.89 %) High,the total complication rate of the experimental group (2.78%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (25.00%),and the SF-36 scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group at 1 month after operation,P<0.05 (all differences were statistically significant) Learning meaning).Conclusion: MIPPO + LCP operation can effectively improve the ankle function and reduce the incidence of complications in patients with distal tibial fractures.The operation time is shorter,the quality of life of the patients is higher,and the effect is significant.It is worth learning.
