Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of cyclophosphamide on lung peroxidation injury of rabbits with paraquat poisoning.Methods: 40 healthy rabbits were randomly divided into control group,model group,methylpolygonon group and cyclophosphamide+methylpolygonon group,with 10 cases in each group.Paraquat was given to the model group,methylpolygonon group and cyclophosphamide + methylpolygonon group.The methylprednisolone group was treated with methylprednisolone,the cyclophosphamide + methylprednisolone group was treated with cyclophosphamide and methylprednisolone,and the control group and model group were given normal saline.Results: After 1 day of treatment,the levels of TGF - β 1 and MDA in model group,methylprednisolone group and cyclophosphamide + methylprednisolone group were higher than those of control group,while serum SOD level was lower than that of control group (P<0.05).After 3 days,5 days and 7 days of treatment,the levels of serum TGF - β 1 and MDA in methylprednisolone group and cyclophosphamide + methylprednisolone group were lower than those of model group,while serum SOD level was higher than that of model group (P<0.05).The levels of serum TGF - β 1 and MDA in the cyclophosphamide + methylprednisolone group were lower than those in the methylprednisolone group after 3 days,5 days and 7 days of treatment,while the serum SOD level was higher than that of the methylprednisolone group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Cyclophosphamide can effectively reduce the expression of serum TGF-β1 and MDA and increase the activity of SOD,so as to improve the peroxidation damage caused by paraquat.
