Abstract:Objective: To establish a rapid method for the determination of anionic synthetic detergents in natural mineral water. Methods: Accurately draw 20mL of water sample to be tested into 25mL plug colorimetric tube, add 4 mL of methylene blue buffer solution, mix well, add 4 mL of chloroform, and close the lid. The mixture was shaken continuously for 120 times (45 S), and then poured into a 100 ml separatory funnel, standing and stratified. A small mass of absorbent cotton was push into the neck of the separatory funnel, The absorbance of chloroform phase was measured at a wavelength of 650 nm using the absorbance of chloroform as a reference. Results:The linear relationship between anionic synthetic detergents in natural mineral water was quickly determined by optimized methylene blue spectrophotometry with good Results. The correlation coefficient (r) was 0.9998, the lowest detection concentration was 0.02 mg/L, and the samples were low, medium and high. The spiked concentration test was carried out at a concentration level of 97.4% to 106.3%, and the precision was 0.68% to 2.34% (n=6). The certified standard materials were determined and the Results were satisfactory. Conclusion: This test method is easy to operate, has good precision, high accuracy and low detection limit. It is suitable for the detection of anionic synthetic detergents in all kinds of drinking natural mineral water.
