Abstract:Objective: To explore the correlation of biochemical indexes and psychological function in maintenance hemodialysis patients, and to analyze the influencing factors. Methods: 58 patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (study group) in our hospital during the period from November 2015 to December 2016 and 30 healthy volunteers (healthy group) who received physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the subjects. Patients in the study group were divided into the poor psychological function group and the good psychological functiongroup according to the psychological function in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. The biochemical parameters hemoglobin (Hb), total protein (TP), albumin (Alb), prealbumin (PA), serum creatinine (SCr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum calcium (Ca), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and psychological function evaluated with the psychiatric symptom checklist (SCL-90) were compared between the two groups, and correlation analysis was performed. The independent influencing factors of psychological function were analyzed by multiple Logistic regression analysis. Results: There were significant differences of Hb, Alb and BDNF among the three groups (P< 0.05), and there were significant differences of PA, SCr, BUN and Ca between the poor psychological function group and the healthy group (P< 0.05). There was a significant difference of BUN between the good psychological function groupand the healthy group (P< 0.05), but there was no significant difference in TP among the three groups (P> 0.05).The SCL-90 score of poor psychological function group was higher than that of the good psychological function group and the healthy group, with significant differences between groups (P< 0.01).Hb, Alb and BDNF were independent factors influencing the psychological function in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis(P< 0.05). Conclusion: There are great differences in biochemical indexes and psychological functionbetween patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysisand healthy people. Hb, Alb and BDNF are important factors influencing the psychological function in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis, and relevant indicators should be monitored in clinical practice.
