Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of vitrectomy combined with air filtration in the treatment of vitreoretinal diseases. Methods: 102 patients with monocular vitreoretinal diseases who were admitted to hospital from May 2015 to May 2017 were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in filtration air group were treated with vitrectomy combined with filtered air filling. Patients in C3F8 group were treated with vitrectomy combined with C3F8 Gas filling, visual acuity, intraocular pressure, central macular thickness, central anterior chamber depth, complications and long-term quality of life were compared before and after treatment. Results: Compared with C3F8 Gas group, the BCVA, intraocular pressure and OCT levels in the filtered air group were significantly lower than those in the C3F8 gas group; the ACD was significantly higher than that of the C3F8 gas group; the gas absorption time was significantly lower than that of the C3F8 gas group; There was a significant difference between the three groups (P<0.01). The overall complication was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05) . Conclusion: Vitrectomy combined with filtering air filling has significant clinical effect in the treatment of vitreoretinal diseases.
