Abstract：Objective: To investigate the effect of preventive interventions on postoperative complications of children with hypospadias. Methods: 80 children undergoing hypospadias admitted to hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were randomly divided into two groups. The traditional group of children received traditional nursing, and the preventive group of children received preventive intervention. Pain, sedation, child behavior, urinary tract related parameters, and complications were reported in both groups. Results: The scores of Wong-Baker and Ramsay scores in the prevention group were significantly lower than those in the traditional group; the depression, hyperactivity, and aggressiveness scores after the intervention were all significantly lower than the traditional group; The urethral pressure, maximum urethral closure pressure and VV levels were significantly higher than the traditional group; the overall complication rate was significantly lower than the traditional group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Preventive intervention has significant effect on the postoperative complications of hypospadias in children. It can be used for reference.
