Abstract:Objective: To analyze the epidemic trend and characteristics of Class A and B intestinal infectious diseases in Chengde, and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of intestinal infectious diseases. Method: Data of confirmed cases of Class A and B intestinal infectious diseases in Chengde from 2006 to 2016 were collected and analyzed with Excel and SPSS statistical software. Results: A total of 8069 cases of intestinal infectious diseases with no death case were reported from 2006 to 2016 in chengde and the average annual incidence rate were 21.26/100000 . The ratio of males and females was 1.65:1.There was no significant difference between the incidence of males and females (χ2=33.45, P<0.01). There were cases in all counties of chengde city. The top diseases were bacillary dysentery. The incidence rate among 0~14 years was the highest. In occupation, the incidence rates of farmers (40.85%) and scattered children (27.66%) were higher. Conclusion: Bacillary dysentery is the focus of prevention and treatment of class A and B infectious diseases in Chengde. Scattered children are the focus group. Surveillance of intestinal infectious diseases should be strengthened to control the occurrence and development of the epidemic.
