Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of gatifloxacin in treatment urinary tract infection and its effect on serum PCT, IL-2 and IL-8. Methods: 122 patients with urinary tract infection who received therapy from June 2016 to December 2017 in two hospitals, according to the simple random number table method, those patients were divided into the control group and the research group, 61 cases in each group. control group was treated with levofloxacin, and the research group was treated with gatifloxacin. Then clinical efficacy, symptom relief time, the level of serum PCT, IL-2 and IL-8, and adverse reactions between two group was compared. Results: Total effective rate and bacterial clearance rate in research group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). the urinary tract pain, urinary frequency, and urgency relief time in research group was lesser than those in the control group, and there were statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Before treatment, serum PCT, IL-2 and IL-8 in two group was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum PCT and IL-8 in two group was decreased, and the level of IL-2 was significantly increased, and the changes of the research group were more obvious, there are statistically significant differences (P<0.05). adverse reactions in two group were mainly rash, dizziness and gastrointestinal discomfort, Adverse reaction rate in two group was no statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion: Effect of gatifloxacin in treatment urinary tract infection is sure, and can regulate the expression of serum PCT, IL-2 and IL-8, and reduce clinical symptoms, which may be a reliable solution for clinical treatment.
