Observation on Curative Effect of Arthroscopic Knee Debridement Combined with Denervation Therapy on Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis Complicated with Cartilage Injury

Abstract:Objective: To observe curative effect of arthroscopic knee debridement combined with denervation therapy on patients with knee osteoarthritis complicated with cartilage injury. Methods: Eighty-four cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis complicated with cartilage injury treated in our hospital were selected as the study objects. All the patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the random and equal principle. The control group were treated with arthroscopic knee debridement, and the observation group were combined with denervation therapy on the basis of the control group. Pain degree, knee function, clinical effects and complication rates were observed in the two groups. Results: After the operation, the VAS score of the two groups was significantly lower than that before the operation (P<0.05), and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The difference between the two groups after the operation was statistically significant (P<0.05). Lysholm scores at each time after operation were significantly lower than those before operation (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the scores a month and three months after operation (P>0.05), while significant differences in the scores six months and twelve months after operation (P<0.05), with significant differences at each time after operation in the observation group (P<0.05) and no significant differences in the control group (P>0.05). The excellent rate of the observation group was 90.48% significantly higher than that of 71.43% of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.38% lower than that of 7.14% in the control group (P>0.05). Conclusion: Arthroscopic knee debridement combined with denervation for knee osteoarthritis complicated with cartilage injury can relieve pain and improve knee function.
