Abstract：Objective: To investigate the expression of PTENmRNA and hTERTmRNA in endometrioid adenocarcinoma, and evaluate the relationship of their expression to the biological behavior of endometrioid adenocarcinoma. Methods: The expression of PTENmRNA and hTERTmRNA of the 50 patients with endometrioid adenocarcinoma and 50 patients with normal endometrium were observed by in situ hybridization, then evaluated their influence to the biological behavior of endometrioid adenocarcinoma. Results: The positive expression of PTENmRNA and hTERTmRNA were 30.0% and 78.0% respectively. The expression of PTENmRNA and hTERTmRNA were correlated with tumor differentiation, FIGO staging, lymphnode metastasis and muscular infiltration of endometrioid adenocarcinoma(P<0.05). Conclusion: The expression of PTENmRNA and hTERTmRNA are related to the formation and development of endometrioid adenocarcinoma. Combined detection of PTENmRNA and hTERTmRNA expression can be used as an index to evaluate the malignant degree and prognosis of endometrioid adenocarcinoma.
