Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of propofol compounded with sufentanil on anesthetic efficacy and anesthetic resuscitation in patients undergoing painless gastroenteroscopy. Methods: A total of 138 patients who were waiting to undergo painless gastroscopy in our hospital from March 2020 to November 2021 were selected and simply randomly divided into observation and control groups by random number table method, 69 patients in each group. The observation group was given propofol compounded with sufentanil and the control group was given propofol. The hemodynamics, drug dosage and cognitive function were compared between the two groups. Results: There was no significant difference in good rate of anesthesia between the two groups (P>0.05). After anesthesia, mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) were lower than those before anesthesia in both groups. MAP and HR were increased during gastroscopy and endoscopy, still lower than those before anesthesia (P<0.05). During gastroscopy and endoscopy, MAP and HR were lower in observation group than control group (P<0.05). After anesthesia, there was no significant difference in blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) between the two groups (P>0.05). The dosage of propofol was smaller in observation group than control group, and recovery time after examination was shorter in observation group (P<0.05). At 30 min after examination, score of mini-mental state examination (MMSE) was lower in observation group than control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in MMSE scores between the two groups at 1h and 3h after after examination (P>0.05). The difference in incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion: The application of propofol compounded with sufentanil in patients undergoing painless gastroenteroscopy resulted in stable blood circulation during the operation, reduced dosage of propofol drug, and rapid recovery from anesthesia after completion of the examination.
