Effect of Microecological Preparations Supplemented with Alpha-Interferon on the Immune Function and Prognosis of Children with Asthma Combined with Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Infection
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of microecological preparations supplemented with α-interferon on the immune function and prognosis of children with asthma complicated by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. Methods: A total of 124 children with asthma complicated by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection who were admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to August 2021 were selected for study.They were randomly divided into the study group and the control group with 62 cases in each group.Both groups were given conventional treatment such as cough suppression,wheezing and sedation with azithromycin upon admission.The control group received α-interferon atomization inhalation therapy on the basis of this,and the study group was given probiotics adjuvant therapy on the basis of the control group.After 5 days of treatment,the pulmonary function indexes,peripheral blood CD25,serum interleukin-5 (IL-5),and total immunoglobulin E (IgE) concentrations were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the coughing and wheezing conditions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment,FEV1,FVC,FEV1/FVC in the two groups were higher than those before treatment (P<0.05),CD25,IL-5 and IgE levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05),and the research group The difference before and after treatment was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).TThe cough symptom score,mean length of stay and number of wheezing episodes ≥2 during follow-up were all lower in the study group than in the control group,and the cough disappeared earlier than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The microecological preparation supplemented with α-interferon in the treatment of children with asthma complicated by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection has an ideal effect,and has significant advantages in improving the symptoms and prognosis of children,and has a good promotion prospect.
