Abstract:Objective: To research the value of serum sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 levels in the early diagnosis of hypertension during pregnancy (HDCP). Methods: The blood pressure and serum levels of sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in 450 pregnant women were monitored dynamically. The patients were divided into normal group and HDCP group according to the rise of blood pressure. Analysising the relationship between the changes of serum levels of sICAM-1, sVCAM-1 and HDCP. The threshold value of serum sVCAM-1 level(±s)in normal group was used as the diagnostic threshold of HDCP. Verifying the accuracy of the method. Results: The elevation of blood pressure in HDCP group occurred at 20 weeks of gestation and later, 57 of 450 pregnant women had HDCP, the incidence was 12.67%;Serum sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in HDCP group increased significantly at 10 weeks of gestation compared with normal group (P<0.05).The level of systolic blood pressure after 20 weeks in HDCP group was positively correlated with the level of serum sVCAM-1 during pregnancy (r=0.754, P<0.05);The value of serum sVCAM-1 level(±s) at 10 weeks in normal group was (1136.8+253.8) ng/mL. The specificity based on this diagnosis is 83.2%, and the sensitivity is 90.6%. Conclusion: Monitoring serum sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1 can early diagnose HDCP. It has the characteristics of convenient sampling, accurate method and sensitivity.
