Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical effect of intradermal ozone injection combined with low-temperature plasma nerve ablation on postherpetic neuralgia. Methods: 68 patients with postherpetic neuralgia on the chest and back were divided into two groups by random number table according to the order of visits. Each group had 34 cases. The control group was treated with intradermal injection of ozone, and the experimental group was treated with low-temperature plasma nerve ablation on the basis of the control group for 8 weeks of continuous treatment. The changes in VAS scores, sleep quality and quality of life were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. Results: The VAS scores of the experimental group were compared 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment with the before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant compared with the control group; The VAS scores in the group were significantly different after 8 weeks of treatment compared with 2 weeks after treatment. The quality of sleep and quality of life were significantly different in the scores of the two groups after treatment compared with those before treatment. The experimental group was compared with the control group after treatment. The differences were statistically significant. Conclusion: Ozone intradermal injection combined with low temperature plasma nerve ablation for the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia in the chest and back can better relieve pain, improve sleep, and improve the quality of life than using ozone intradermal injection alone.
