Abstract:Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and electrical stimulation on dysphagia in stroke patients. Methods: 60 stroke patients with dysphagia treated in our hospital from September 2014 to September 2017 were selected,30 cases were divided into the observation group and the control group by simple random grouping method. The control group was treated with electrical stimulation, while the observation group was treated with high-frequency repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation on the basis of the control group. After treatment, the therapeutic effect, drinking water experiment, SSA score, brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) levels of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the total effective rates of the two groups were 96.67% and 73.33%, respectively, with statistical significance (P<0.05). After treatment, both the drinking water experiment and SSA score of the two groups were improved compared with that before treatment, and the drinking water experiment score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the SSA score of the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the levds of BDNF and VEGF in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of BDNF, NSE and VEGF in the two groups were significantly improved compared with that before treatment, and the levels of NSE in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: High frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can improve the swallowing function of patients with dysphagia after stroke.
