Abstract:Objective: To observe the expression of SLC7A11 and Ki-67 in laryngeal carcinoma, and to explore its role in the occurrence and progression of laryngeal carcinoma. Methods: The relative expression of SLC7A11 and Ki-67 in 117 cases of laryngeal carcinomas tissues ( laryngeal carcinoma group) and 65 cases of vocal polyps ( control group) was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The relationship between the expression and the clinicopathological features of laryngeal carcinoma was analyzed. Chi-square test was used to analyze the relationship between SLC7A11 and Ki-67 expression and prognosis and recurrence of patients with laryngeal carcinoma. Results: The positive expression levels of and SLC7A11 and Ki-67 were higher in the laryngeal carcinoma group than in the control group ( χ2 = 9.630、8.006,both P<0.05). High expression of SLC7A11 and Ki-67 was associated with high clinical stage of laryngeal cancer(P<0.05).And it was not related to the survival of patients with laryngeal cancer. Conclusion: The high expression of SLC7A11 and Ki-67 in the laryngeal carcinoma are related to the disease progression and postoperative recurrence,and it is important for the prognosis of patients.
