Abstract:Objective: To investigate the value of chemical staining combined with blue laser magnifying endoscopy in the diagnosis of early esophageal carcinoma and precancerous lesions. Methods: From May 2017 to May 2019,100 patients with 138 suspicious esophageal lesions were examined by endoscopy in our hospital. The 100 patients were examined by blue laser magnifying endoscopy, iodine staining and blue laser magnifying endoscopy combined with iodine staining, and the pathological diagnosis was taken as the gold index. Kappa consistency test was performed for the microscopic and pathological results of the three methods, and the reliability of the McNemar chi-squartest was evaluated by sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and Youden Index. Results: The combination of blue laser amplification and iodine staining showed good consistency, high sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and Youden index. Conclusion: The combination of blue laser amplification and iodine staining can improve the diagnosis rate of early esophageal carcinoma.
