Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of enhanced external counter-pulsation on sleep quality of non-hospitalized patients with chronic heart failure. Methods: In the selection period,80 patients with chronic heart failure and insomnia were randomized into the control group and the experimental group,40 cases in each. The control group was treated with conventional therapy, and the experimental group was given enhanced external counter-pulsation therapy based on conventional therapy. On the day of discharge and 36 hours after enhanced external counter-pulsation,the sleep quality of the two groups were compared. Results: After enhanced external counter-pulsation treatment, the insomnia symptoms of the experimental group were significantly improved, and the scores were better than those of the control group, indicating that enhanced external counter-pulsation treatment is effective. Conclusion: Enhanced external counter-pulsation has a positive effect on improving the sleep quality of patients with chronic heart failure. It is worthy of further research and promotion.
