Abstract:Objective: To study the curative effect of Azithromycin combined with Yangyinqingfei Decoction on the serum interleukin-1beta (IL-1 beta) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF- alpha) expressions of children with bronchial pneumonia.Methods: 96 cases of children with bronchial pneumonia in our hospital from October 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 48 cases in each group.The control group was administered azithromycin treatment,and the observation group was treated by oral Yangyinqingfei decoction on the basis of control group.The total effective rate,disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs and changes of serum IL-1 and beta TNF- alpha levels before and after treatment were compared between two groups.Results: After treatment,the total efficiency of observation group (93.75%) was significantly higher than the control group (77.08%) (P=0.02);The disappearance time of fever,cough,pulmonary rales,pulmonary shadow and hospital stay of observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.01);The serum IL-1 beta and TNF- levels of observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion: the Azithromycin combined with Yangyinqingfei Decoction could enhance the clinical efficacy in the treatment of children with bronchial pneumonia,which was able to promote the recovery of the symptoms and signs,decrease the serum IL-1 beta and TNF- levels.
