Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of OsteoMed M3 screw plate on stress response and inflammatory factors in the treatment of benign spinal canal tumors. Methods: From January 2015 to June 2017, 85 patients with benign vertebral canal tumors treated by laminoplasty were retrospectively divided into observation group (45 cases) and control group (40 cases). The observation group was treated with Osteo Med M3 screw plate internal fixation and laminoplasty, while the control group was treated with conventional laminectomy. Cure. The perioperative conditions, post-operative stress response, inflammatory factors, functional recovery of spine and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results: The operation time, active time and cervical pick up time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than those in the control group(P<0.05); there were significant differences in the interaction of serum superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin(IL)-6, IL-8, Japanese Orthopaedic Association Assessment Treatment Score (JOA), spine Dysfunction Index (NDI) score, spine Cobb angle and spinal canal width between groups at inter-group, different time points, inter-group·different time points (P< 0.05); the follow-up until 31 May 2018, the excellent and good rate of clinical efficacy in observation group was significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: OsteoMed M3 nail plate is well forlaminoplasty for benign spinal canal tumors, the postoperative stress response, less inflammatory reaction, fast recovery of cervical function and other advantages, and high safety, it is worthy of application and promotion.
