Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of neuroprotective factor on the hearing of newborns with Cytomegalovirus Infection. Methods: 78 cases newborns with congenital cytomegalovirus infection were collected. All the patinets were divided into 2 groups. The patints of the 2 groups were treated with ganciclovir routinely. The study group patinets were given neuroprotective factors on the based of the above treatment. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results: The pass rate of hearing screening of the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group after the birth of 6 days. The V wave threshold of ABR testing of the study group was significantly lower than the control group in the 3 months ans 6 months after birth. Conclusion: Nerve protection factor can reduce the hearing damage in congenital CMV infection in a certain extent, can have very good protection effect on the patients'auditory system, which is worthy to be populared and applied in clinic.
