Abstract:Objectives: To investigate the correlation between serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25OH-D) and dermatomyositis-associated pulmonary interstitial disease (DM-ILD). Methods: 81 cases of DM-ILD were selected from March 2016 to February 2017 in our hospital department of rheumatism in our hospital as the research object (research group), 82 DM patients and 80 healthy volunteers were selected as control group and healthy-control group in the same period. The serum levels of 25OH-D in each group were tested by the method of high performance liquid chromatography combined with tandem mass spectrometry.And the differences of 25OH-D levels among the groups were analyzed. Results: The serum levels of 25OH-D in research group was significantly lower than the control group and healthy-control group, and the difference were statistically significant (P<0.01). The serum level of 25OH-D in the control group was significantly lower than that in healthy control group, and the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). The serum level of 25OH-D in research group was 97.53% which was significantly higher than that in the control group (43.90%)(P=0.035).The proportions of patients with ‘severely deficient’ or ‘lack’ of 25OH-D serum levels in research group were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: The lower serum level of 25OH-D in patient with DM-ILD is closely related with DM-ILD, and it has a certain clinical value for the early diagnosis of DM-ILD.
