Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of perioperative infusion of fresh frozen plasma (FFP) on coagulation function in patients undergoing scoliosis surgery. Methods:104 patients with scoliosis were selected from January 2016 to October 2018. The proportions of autologous blood transfusion, allogeneic suspended red blood cell transfusion and FFP transfusion were compared between the two groups, and the status of PT, TT, APTT, FIB, D-D, ACT, CR and PF at 3 days before operation and 3 days after operation were compared. The hospitalization time and wound healing of the two groups were counted. Results:The proportions of autologous blood transfusion, allogeneic red blood cell infusion and FFP transfusion in FFP group were significantly higher than those in non-FFP group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in PT, TT, APTT, FIB, D-D, ACT, CR and PF between the two groups before and 3 days after operation (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the length of hospital stay and Grade I wound healing between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Perioperative infusion of FFP in patients undergoing posterior scoliosis surgery does not improve their coagulation function, nor does it have a significant impact on the prognosis of patients.
