Abstract:Objective: To explore the expression levels of serum C cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen 21-1 (CYFRA21-1), serum thymidine kinase 1 (TK1) and carbohydrate antigen 15-3 (CA15-3) in patients with breast cancer and their correlation analysis with prognosis. Methods:The clinical data of 90 patients with breast cancer (breast cancer group) admitted from January 2013 to January 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. Another 50 patients with benign breast tumors at the same time period were selected as control group. The levels and positive rates of serum CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 were compared between the two groups. The recurrence and metastasis at 3 years were recorded in breast cancer group. The correlation between levels of CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 and prognosis of breast cancer was analyzed by logistic regression analysis. Results:The levels and positive rates of serum CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 in breast cancer group were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The levels of CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 in recurrence group were higher than those in non-recurrence group (P<0.05), and the levels of CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 in metastasis group were higher than those in non-metastasis group (P<0.05). Spearman analysis showed that the levels of CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 were positively correlated with recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer (P<0.05). Conclusions:The high expression levels of serum CYFRA21-1, TK1 and CA15-3 are associated with occurrence, postoperative recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer, and can effectively predict the postoperative recurrence and metastasis
