Effects of Minimally Invasive Surgical Resectionand Interventional Embolization on Perioperative Indexes and Short-term Prognosis in Patients with Hepatic Hemangioma

Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effects of minimally invasive surgical resection and interventional embolization on perioperative indexes and short-term prognosis in patients with hepatic hemangioma. Methods: The clinical data of 60 patients with hepatic hemangioma in the hospital from January 2017 to June 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. According to surgical Methods, 28 patients undergoing minimally invasive surgical resection were included in group B. 32 patients undergoing interventional embolization were included in group A.The perioperative indexes and short-term prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results: Theoperation time and hospital stay in group A were shorter than those in group B, and intraoperative blood loss was less than that in group B (P<0.05). The total treatment cost of group A was higher than that of group B (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in level of total bilirubin (TB) between the two groups after treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate transaminase(AST) in group A were lower than those in group B, while albumin (ALB) level was higher than that in group B (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in incidence of postoperative short-term complications between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The surgical trauma is smaller, prognosisrecovery is quickly and liver function damage is smaller with interventional embolization in treatment of hepatic hemangioma compared with minimally invasive surgical resection.
