Abstract:Objective: To analyze the correlation of pathological features of laryngeal cancer with the angiogenesis and its impact in the short-term clinical effective rate. Methods: 120 patients with laryngeal cancer treated from February 2016 to February 2017 in our hospital were selected. The correlation of pathological features of laryngeal cancer with the angiogenesis was analyzeds; the subjects were divided into positive group and negative group according to the VM (vasculogenic mimicry) results. The clinical effective rate for two groups was compared. Results: The MVD (microvessel density) for patients over 60 years old was significantly higher than patients below 60 years old; the MVD for glottic patients was significantly higher than supraglottic and subglottic patients;the MVD for male patients was significantly higher than female patients;the MVD for poorly differentiated patients was significantly higher than moderately and highly differentiated patients (P<0.05); the MVD for T3 and T4 of patients was higher than T1 and T2 of patients; the MVD for N1-3 group was higher than N0 patients; the MVD for stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ of patients was higher than stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ of patients (P>0.05); there were 67 positive cases of VM and HIF-1α(hypoxia-inducible factor); the results indicated that the two indicators were closely correlated with each other (r=0.526, P<0.0 5); the short-term effective rate for VM positive cases was lower than negative cases (P<0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between pathological features such as age, sex and degree of differentiation with angiogenesis, and the prognosis of VM positive patients is often poor, which needs to be paid attention to by medical staff.
