Observation on the Clinical Efficacy of Stereotactic Minimally Invasive Surgery Combined with Piracetam and Hyperbaric Oxygen in the Treatment of Brain Tumors

Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of stereotactic micro-invasive surgery combined with postoperative piracetam and hyperbaric oxygen therapy for brain tumors. Methods: 104 cases of brain tumor patients were divided into control group and observation group according to admission by random digital table method, each group of 52 cases. The control group was treated with stereotactic minimally invasive surgery. The observation group was given stereotactic minimally invasive surgery combined with piracetam and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The quality of life score, adverse reactions, curative effect and survival rate, mortality, recurrence rate and metastasis rate during the 1-year follow-up were and compared between the two groups. Results: During treatment, the total incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.67%, The mortality, recurrence rate and metastasis rate were 11.54%, 1.92%, 1.92% during follow-up, respectively, and these were significantly lower than the control group's (21.15%, 19.23%, 13.46%, 13.46%) (all P<0.05). After treatment, the total score of the life quality in the observation group was (89.04±7.78), the total effective rate was 92.31%, and the survival rate was 90.38%, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (69.17±6.74, 78.85%, 53.85%) (all P<0.05) . Conclusion: The effect of Laci Staw and hyperbaric oxygen therapy on brain tumor patients after minimally invasive surgery is significant. It can effectively improve the quality of life, reduce the incidence of complications, and have high safety.
