Abstract:Objective: To analyze the effect of amino-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) on the disease site of myocardial infarction and prognosis. Methods: 120 patients with myocardial infarction received therapy from January 2017 to June 2017, plasma NT-proBNP levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunoassay. The relationship between the plasma NT-proBNP and the different sites, Gensini integrals, cardiovascular events and prognosis was analyzed. Results: Level of NT-proBNP in the anterior wall infarction group was higher than that of the anterior wall infarction group, the anterior wall infarction group and the lower wall infarction group, there was a statistical difference (P<0.05). NT-proBNP in severe group was higher than the moderate group and was higher than the mild group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The plasma NT-proBNP level in recurrent myocardial infarction, heart failure and cardiac death group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression showed that the anterior wall infarction, Gensini integral and NT-proBNP were independent risk factors for the prognosis of myocardial infarction patients. The area under the ROC curve of the NT-proBNP level was 0.649 (95%cl was 0.508~0.790, P<0.001), the cutoff value was 0.162, and the sensitivity and specificity were 0.561 and 0.731. Conclusion: NT-proBNP can reflect the location of myocardial infarction, and can serve as an important biomarker for predicting the prognosis of patients.
