Abstract：Objective: To analyze the influence of Suhuang Zhike capsule combined with seretide on the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) and immunoglobulin E (IgE) of patients with cough variant asthma. Methods: 90 cases of cough variant asthma admitted from March 2015 to September 2016 in our hospital were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with seretide, while the observation group was treated with Suhuang Zhike capsule based on the control group, of the serum levels of TNF-α, TGF-β1, IgE, eosinophils (Eos) count, fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO), forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1), cough symptoms integral, curative effect and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups after treatment. Results: After treatment, the serum levels of TNF-α, TGF-β1, IgE, Eos, FeNO of observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05), FVC, FEV1, cough symptoms integral and total effective rate of observation group were obviously higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). No severe adverse reactions was found in both groups after treatment(P>0.05). Conclusion: Suhuang Zhike capsule combined with seretide is effective in the treatment of patients with cough variant asthma, which could reduce the levels of serum TNF-α, TGF-β1, IgE.
