Abstract:Objective: To explore the influence factors of vascular disease in type 2 diabetes mellitus, and provide the basis for early effective prevention and treatment of diabetic foot and heart and cerebrovascular diseases. Methods: 187 patients with type 2 diabetes who were treated in Department of endocrinology of Chengde College Affiliated Hospital from October 2015 to April -2017 were selected as subjects. According to the level of hyperhomocysteinemia (Hcy), the patients were divided into high Hcy group and normal Hcy group. The effects of low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), homocysteine (Hcy), triglyceride (TG) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) and other risk factors on diabetic peripheral vascular disease in two groups were compared. Results: When high Hcy was combined with high SBP, high LDL-C, high TG and high HbAlc, the risk of diabetic peripheral vascular disease was significantly higher than that of single risk factor (P<0.05). Conclusion: The level of plasma homocysteine is related to the severity of peripheral vascular disease in type 2 diabetes, and plasma high Hcy concentration combined with metabolic syndrome is more prone to diabetic peripheral vascular disease.
