Abstract:Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of chronic urticaria. Method: 72 patients with chronic urticaria were randomly divided into two groups, 36 cases in the control group were given western medical treatment; the 36 cases in control group were treated on the basis of Western medicine plus Angelica nourishing blood, dispelling wind and relieving itching, both groups last 4 weeks for a course of treatment. Result: At the end of the 4-week course, the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 91.67% and 72.22%. After 4 weeks of drug withdrawal, the recurrence rate of the treatment group and the control group were 12.12% and 38.46% respectively. The difference between the total effective rate and the recurrence rate of the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a high curative effect on the treatment of chronic urticarial, the recurrence rate is low and the adverse reaction is less.
