Abstract:Objective: To investigate the efficacy of folic acid and vitamin B12 in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic heart failure and hyperhomocysteinemia. Methods: A total of 80 elderly patients with CHD with hyperhomocysteinemia who were hospitalized from June 2015 to June 2017 were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in the control group were given symptomatic treatment while the patients in the experimental group Folic acid and vitamin B12 were used to compare disease-related parameters, heart failure grade and quality of life in both groups. Results: The levels of HCY, NT-proBNP, TG, TC, LDL-C, MCP-1 and IL-8 in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.01). The NYHAⅠ ~ Ⅱlevel after treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group Group, there was a significant difference (P <0.05). Conclusion: The effect of folic acid combined with vitamin B12 in the treatment of chronic heart failure and hyperhomocysteinemia in elderly patients with coronary heart disease is significant, and it is of reference significance.
