Abstract：Objective: To investigate the effect of misoprostol combined with oxytocin in the treatment of postpartum uterine contractions. Methods: A total of 100 patients with postpartum uterine bleeding were enrolled from January 2016 to January 2017 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received oxytocin therapy. In the experimental group, patients were treated with misoprostol, patients of two groups related to clinical indicators, clinical events, vital signs, uterine recovery, symptomatic quantification score and overall treatment. Results: The incidence of fever and chills was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group. After treatment, the incidence of RBC, HGB, HCT, SBP and DBP were significantly higher than those in the control group, the uterus was significantly lower than the control group; vaginal bleeding, blood clots, blood color, residues, abdominal ventilate, fatigue, spontaneous sweat score and total score (P <0.01). The total effective rate was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). Conclusion: Misoprostol combined with oxytocin is effective in the treatment of postpartum uterine contraction hemorrhage, but it can occur fever and chills. It needs clinical attention and has reference significance.
