Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of brinzolamide treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma and its effect on the patient's field of vision protection. Methods: 98 cases of primary open-angle glaucoma patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 49 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with conventional symptomatic treatment .Patients in the observation group rnderwent treatment of brinzolamide based on the control group. Results: After treatment, MD in the observation group patients compared with before treatment were decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, MD and average visual field defects variance in the observation group patients were lower than the control group, while MS in the observation group patients were higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Brinzolamide treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma can effectively protect patient vision, control visual field defect and reduce the variance of visual field defect, improve patient quality of life.
