Abstract:Objective: To investigate the suprascapular nerve block using the traditional method and the coracoid method of suprascapular nerve block quality, to find a more simple method more accurately, improve the curative effect of suprascapular nerve block. Methods: using piecewise randomization, two groups of 43 patients respectively, using the traditional puncture and coracoid method of suprascapular nerve block, confirmed by perspective of C arm, and injection of 0.5% ropivacaine hydrochloride compound analgesic liquid after patients have obvious radiation to the shoulder and scapular region paresthesia, pain disappeared after 10 minutes or significantly reduced, that the success of the block. Results: the success rate of 74.4% using the traditional method, the coracoid method success rate was 97.7%, there were significant differences between the groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: the traditional method of block success rate is low, because the method does not consider the physical differences, while the proportion of scapula and coracoid process is relatively fixed, so the coracoid method of suprascapular nerve block is a simple and accurate method is obviously superior to the traditional method.
