Abstract:Objective: To observe the effect of humanistic care nursing for pain, mood and the sleep quality of patients with terminal cancer, to explore the clinical value of humanism care. Methods: 260 cases of terminal cancer patients treated in our hospital from February 2013 to June 2016 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each group was 130 cases. The situation of pain, mood and sleep quality before and 4 weeks after treatment of patients in two groups were comparatively analyzed. Results: There was no difference of patients between two groups in pain VAS score, SDS and SAS scores and Pittsburgh sleep therapy index before treatment(P > 0.05), the pain VAS score, SDS and SAS scores and Pittsburgh sleep treatment index of the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05), the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: The implementation of humanistic care for patients with terminal cancer can reduce the pain, reduce the occurrence of negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, and improve the sleep quality of patients, it has widely practical application value.
